Cysts boils can develop in various part of the body and in any age. Cysts boils are the enclosed cap like structure which has pus filled in it. There are various cyst boils causes that are responsible for their formation. Genetic disorders, tumors and infections are some of the causes of cyst boils. The boils may also form due to the rupture of hair follicles.

Boils do not have any specific area for their occurrence. But they usually grow on buttocks, armpits, neck, face or thighs. They are also seen on areas which have hair or sweat glands and on areas which are more prone to friction. You can easily see the cysts if they occur under the skin. This is because they form lumps which are easily felt and seen. If the cyst boils are detected in internal organs, then they can only be detected through CAT scans and x-rays.

These boils are slightly different from simple boils as they have a membrane surrounding them. This makes things difficult for topical medicines as they cannot penetrate through the outer wall. The cysts boils are filled with white blood cell fluids which are immediately below the skin. Apart from white blood cells, they also carry bacteria and other infection producing fluid that is harmful for the skin and causes more production of boils.

Due to inflammation of one or more hair follicles or the bacterial infections, boils are formed. The cyst boils are painful and often causes recurring boils which can cause more harm to the skin. During initial stages of formation of boil, the tender lump like structure which is slight pink in color is formed. This later progress to a hard, firm lump which gets filled into dead skin tissue known as pus and bacteria fighting fluid white blood cells. The affected area gets larger and painful till the boil bursts and all the pus comes out.

Symptoms of Boils

When the affected area turns red and a lump is formed, then it can be an initial stage for cyst boil formation.

Boil on Skin

Pus head like structure appears on the boil and a lymph node swelling is observed. If any of the hair follicle is infected, it can be the beginning of a cysts boil formation.

Cyst boil may occur due to different genetic conditions. The genetic disorder or any hormonal changes may result in formation of cyst.

Foreign objects like splinters which get into the skin are one of the causes for formation of cyst boils.

Ingrown Hair

Ingrown hair when gets infected causes boils. Ingrown hair is the most common cause of cyst boils.

Plugged Glands

When the sweat glands and other ducts get blocked, cysts boils are formed. Therefore, it is necessary that the body should always secrete properly, so that the formation of boils does not take place.

Cysts can be formed due to various processes in the body. The simple destructions to the flow of fluid, chronic inflammatory conditions, tumors, genetic conditions, and the other abnormal developing organs in embryo can cause cysts boils.
